Lane Family Sneak-Peek

This weekend I was lucky enough to capture the fun and joy of little Chelsea's first birthday. Chelsea's dear mama, Emma, and I went to school together - way back when - and it was such a joy to now see her in the role of mummy. Emma thought of every detail to make her little munchkin's birthday so special and certainly one to remember. Just adorable!!!

Little ballet tootsie, tule tutu, lace... be still my heart!!!

Check out that cake-face and drool! Oh goodness me, too cute.

Weekend Bliss

Hello Lovelies,

How are you all this beautiful, sunny, Sunday afternoon? I thought I'd pop by to share some pictures from this weekend... it's been one filled with auntie duties for me - which I am always thankful for.

Yesterday I spent the day with my dear 4 year old niece, Caitlin. Caitlin has grown up in front of my camera - in fact she features on my web page, just once or twice :) - and always obliges her silly auntie. So off we went on our morning adventure -  a picnic in the park with a long-time family friend and her littlies, Olivia and Linkoln. The girlies had a ball on the swings, each one trying to go higher than the other. While Mr Linkoln was happy just to explore and climb.

Caitie and I then spent our afternoon potting flowers for springtime - tulips, daffodils and hyacinths - followed by afternoon snuggles on the couch. I didn't brave photo-taking while doing the potting... muddy hands, a 4 year old, water and a camera? A little risky for my liking. But trust me, we had FUN!

This morning was my cousins' little one, Peyton's, 4th birthday party. Peyton is such a precious little thing - she may be tiny, but don't be fooled! As my mum says, she's a total pocket rocket. Of course the party was 'princess' themed, so plenty of pink, glitter and giggles. Very cute!

Well that's all for now my lovelies! Hope you enjoyed sharing in my weekend's adventures. Hope you all have a fabulous week ahead.

Baby Love

Hello!

As promised on my FB page a week ago, I have some baby love to share. Earlier in the month my wonderful cousins Melanie & Ruben (Marshall Love) had a BBQ to celebrate their birthdays. At this BBQ I was lucky enough to snap some impromptu pics of two gorgeous little bunnies - Miss Sophia and Miss Amity.

I also got to have a little more baby love yesterday. One of my good friend's Ashlee and I had an Ikea date. Ash has two cuties, Max and Ivy, who are three and one. It's always a ball hanging out with these cherubs.

Marshall Love: October 20th, 2012

HELLO HELLO!

I am sorry that I have been MIA for the past few weeks... I admit that I have been holding out on you all. Very mean I know. But today I will (finally!) share some very special photos from my gorgeous cousin Melanie's wedding. Three weeks ago I was so honoured and humbled to stand beside Melanie and witness her marry her childhood sweetheart, Ruben. Their story is proof that true love still exists!

Now, as I was in the bridal party, it meant my photo taking ceased once we were all primped and preened... surprisingly this also meant I was IN photos - I swear somewhere in the world a couple of piggies grew wings, haha.

Love you both Mr & Mrs Marshall!!! May you have a long and happy life together filled with love, joy and much adventure.
